Our approaches to helping clients solve their security challenges are based in a deep understanding of real world attacks: we take an attack-based perspective in our research and development, which we in turn use to develop novel technology and methodologies to meet our clients’ needs.

Job Description

We’re looking for enthusiastic, and capable security engineers to work across a range of areas in a fast paced, and close-knit team located in Reykjavík, Iceland. The positions will require a passion for security, and a demonstrated track record in security assessments, penetration testing, code review, and the communication of findings to our clients. Ideally you will also have familiarity with development of web applications, and be able to apply this knowledge to both engineer solutions, and find novel security issues. The positions are full time.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
     Science/Engineering or demonstrable experience
     in the areas we are looking for
  • You have an uncontainable enthusiasm for
    ‘hacking all of the things’
  • You are excited about the idea of working on different
     things each day and of jumping in to help teammates
     solve problems spanning a range of disciplines
  • You relish the idea of using security first principles to
     work out what needs to be done even if you’ve never
     worked on a particular type of problem before
  • You want to help our clients stay ahead of the curve when
     it comes to their security


• Applied knowledge and experience with web application
• Ability to apply their knowledge to uncover security  
  vulnerabilities in applications and systems
• A solid understanding of the various components of the
  security technologies in place at organisations who are
  investing in their defence
• Experience in writing in common programming languages,
  such as C# and Python
• Experience reading most common programming languages
  (C/C++,C#, Java, PHP, Python) in a critical way to identify
  security flaws or vulnerabilities
• Experience with tools such as ElasticSearch, Kibana,
  or Graylog
• Knowledge of modern web technologies, HTTP, and
  general networking
• Good familiarity with Windows, and Linux, experience with
  macOS is a bonus
• Willingness to engage with the community and conduct
  research projects
